FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does a project take?
Most projects run 8–12 weeks, so from your first meeting to an installed piece is usually around 3 months. Kitchen projects take longer, from 20 weeks upwards. We work on a rolling programme and always try to stay flexible around other trades on larger projects.

What’s the difference between an estimate and a quote?
An estimate is our professional judgement of likely cost, a good starting point for setting a budget. A quote is a fixed price, based on a finished design and specification. Both are valid for 30 days.

Do you have a minimum project size?
We don’t normally take on projects below £4,000.

How do deposits and payments work?
We work in stages: 10% design fee up front, 60% during workshop manufacturing, 20% pre-installation, and 10% on completion.

How do you take payment?
By bank transfer, BACS or CHAPS. We don’t accept credit cards or cash.

Can you match specific colours and finishes?
Yes. We colour match spray finishes from the leading brands using a computer controlled process. It’s a close match rather than a guaranteed 100% match, since light, sheen, and pigment all play a part. If you need an exact match, we may need to use the branded paint itself, which can’t always be spray finished.

Do you work outside the UK?
We’re UK based and currently only work with customers in the UK.

What guarantee do you offer?
All work comes with a guarantee of quality workmanship. Kitchens come with a 7 year guarantee and a 6 month post-install check. Fitted furniture projects come with a 2 year guarantee.

What hardware and components do you use?
We use the best components available, with guarantees from their manufacturers. Brands we work with include Blum, Grass, Sugatsune, Loox and Hafele.
